🚀New paper alert and a great way to start the year for Philip and #TeamJJ!🚀

Our paper on enhancing T cell anti-tumor potency through CAR-adapted PIK3CD base editing is now out in Nature Cancer. 

 

We show that context-dependent Rational Optimization of Activation-dependent Signaling via Targeted Allelic Reprogramming (ROADSTAR) at the PIK3CD locus significantly enhances CAR T cell performance in treatment-refractory hematological malignancies and solid tumors. 

 

This study highlights the importance of fine-tuning intrinsic T cell signaling and showcases the potential of base editing for next-generation cellular therapies.
